Virginia is a Mid-Atlantic state located in the Eastern United States. Virginia's capital is Richmond which is the city where Patrick Henry gave the "Give me Liberty or Give me Death" speech. Virginia has lots of history and is given the Nickname "The mother of Presidents" as eight US Presidents were born in Virginia. Virginia has Hot Summers and Cold Winter and has regular snowfall but significantly less than far northern states. Virginia is located along the Chesapeake Bay and is considered to be in the Chesapeake region along with Maryland.
