Gidget Gein: the second bassist in Marilyn Manson who doesn't the credit he deserves. Gidget made a lot of the Spooky Kids' early aesthetic, and helped give Manson an image when he had none. Gidget invented the idea the band should carry lunchboxes (contrary to Manson). Unfortunately, like many of the Marilyn Manson band members, Gidget was treated unfairly. Gidget was into drugs, and had two overdoses close together. The second one, he went to rehab and began to get better. On Christmas eve, he received a note from the manager: "your services are no longer needed". Gein had just talked to Manson earlier about him returning to the band. Gien never heard from Manson again. Gien made some music, and became an artist; he lived forgiving of Manson's wrong to him. However, to the sadness of his friends, he died of a suspected overdose in 2005, after years of trying to get clean.
