Cheerleading is one of the hardest SPORTS. It uses lots of muscle and strength and flexibility. Cheerleading also called, cheer, has many parts of it: stunting, tumbling, jumps, and dance. Many people think it isn’t a sport but it is because it is very hard and you should not think that before you have tried it. There are TWO different kinds of cheer, allstar/competitive and, school or non- competitive. Cheerleading is a sport because the definition of sport is: an activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others for entertainment.(from google) and cheerleading does just that. Not just everyone can do cheer, you have to have skill and a mindset, flexibility also is important in cheer. Cheerleading is also competing against another team as in All star, which is the most common type of cheer, so as you can see it fits this definition perfectly.
