A style of football where there is not one correct set of rules. While official football, or soccer, is played on a flat rectangular grass-filled or artificial turf pitch it can be played anywhere such as back alleys, vacant lots, and green spaces. The environment or natural surroundings of the field is the origin of the word. As a type of street game, players create their own rules to suit their needs and field conditions.
