noun (sher-lock-ee-an) The name given to those who devote the majority of their abundant free time to ponder the intellectual and sub-textual connotations of BBC's adaption Sherlock, which is based upon the fine works of Sir Arthur Conon Doyle. That's what we like to think of ourselves, anyway.
