Everyone hates it until they learn what it actually is. The ideology revolving around the creation of a communist society, which is a society following the abolition of class, money, and the state. Frequently, Western imperialist states project the flaws of capitalism onto communism to prevent the people from realizing their current state of oppression, and in doing so establish capitalist ideals as natural law; this phenomenon is known as cultural hegemony, coined by Antonio Gramsci.
