The street name for 3,4-Methyl enedioxy methamphetamine, a psychoactive drug primarily used for recreational purposes. The term is a derivation and bastardization of the term "Molitor Candy," which was commonly used to describe cocaine by 1980s youth in Greater Milwaukee, on account of the legendary cocaine habit of Milwaukee Brewer legend Paul Molitor. By the time the phenomenon had spread westward to Burning Man and the warehouse raves of greater Los Angeles, the phrase had become a bastardization of its original meaning, and was meant to describe any drug having an upper or psychoactive effect.
