Similar in nature to the mud crickets found in the south. A desert grasshopper spends it's warmer months located in the desert southwest around the Laughlin, Lake Havasu and Parker areas surrounded by men twice their age with watercraft, beer bellies and large quantities of alchohol. These creatures migrate during the colder months and can be found around Glamis, Dumont and the Mojave Desert. They are easy to spot during this part of the season, as they tend to be found with 45 to 70 year old males with toy haulers, SxS's and lifted trucks.
