Johnson City is a Small City/Large Town in Washington County, and the largest city in Tennessee east of Knoxville. It is located in the Tri-Cities, TN Metropolitan area, and is the largest city in that region, with a population of 66,936 as of 2020. Ranked one of the top 100 cities to live in America, it is home to many attractions including ETSU, the TVA Credit Union Ballpark, many annual festivals, and countless references in country songs. It is known for beautiful blue-ridge mountains and the sweet southern charm.
