-LGBTQIA refers to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning, intersex, and asexual or allied. -When thinking about all these different identities, they all fall within several buckets: Gender Expression; Gender Identity; Sex Assigned at Birth; and Sexual and Romantic Orientation. -Pansexual, Omnisexual: Terms used to describe people who have a romantic, sexual, or affectional desire for people of all genders and sexes. Has some overlap with bisexuality and polysexuality. -The LGBTQ+ community was in use since the 1990s. -There are more than two genders, even though in our society the genders that are most recognized are male and female (called the gender binary) and usually is based on someone's anatomy (the genitals they were born with).
