Marcodeletion coming from "Macro" meaning: the analysis of large scale events at the macro level, and "Deletion" meaning: the removal or obliteration of written or printed matter. Similarly to Microdeletion, meaning: Loss of a tiny piece that may be too small to be seen readily through a microscope from a chromosome. Macrodeletion is a chromosomal disorder that can be found in what is known as "Band Kids" where instead of slowly tearing up little pieces of chromosomes it does it in fast and large scale amounts.
