A Matt Nagy is someone who tries to outplay everyone but only ends up outplaying himself. He also repeatedly denies any fault of his own and deflects all the criticisms that come his way, usually done with the phrase " I'm not an idiot", despite the fact that he very well is. A Matt Nagy also has terrible time management skills. A Matt Nagy is like the kid you went to school with who got carried by the smart kid on a group test (which can be referred to as an "Andy Reid"), and is subsequently thought to be smart as well, but when he is expected to carry the group, he fails miserably, hurting the entire group's grade as well.
