The term coined in PvP (Player vs. Plaver)games when one earns the title for doing something completely and unneccesarily time consuming or pointless for the pitiful praise of strangers over the internet; also used in daily life to refer to someone who goes above and beyond the requirements of a task or quota to impress or suck up to a superior in the hope of earning societal respect.
