A person, organisation or business compromising their principles for popularity or personal gain. Another way of calling someone a "whore" or a sellout. Generally also associated with something of little value, constant fast shifting alliances, unreliability and a lack of consideration for other people, often accompanied by unessasary drama. Ironically the term is best known for its use by guys lacking integrity to insult women who've rejected them.
