Phenomenon when object and/or personal belongings mysteriously disappear and are not found until requesting assistance from LSS to help locate it. Thereafter LSS finds the item (often hidden behind other objects) and makes you seem like a total dolt. Typical items that disappear include keys, postal mail, and pots or pans. The LSS effect has been recorded in several places, most commonly the kitchen and Ed's workbench. Victims of the LSS effect have 99.9% certainty that they did not move the item that they are trying to locate. Victims usually report symptons of confusion, overheating and inevitable rage when they are unable to locate their item.
