Recess weddings are in elementary school on the playground in places usually hidden fron teachers. These events happen when Little Timmy and Sarah hold hands for the first time and decide to pop the recess question. These can happen anywhere from 2nd - 5th grade and the more popular you are, the more people will want to come to your recess wedding. Popular kids usually hype up their recess weddings the most. When caught by teachers, it ends in everyone getting in trouble or in some cases, no recess for a period of time. Sometimes, teachers have to deal with recess wedding epidemics (when popular kids have a recess wedding and everyone magically has one as well and if you don't, everything you do is irrelevant.) Recess wedding epidemics last about a week to worst case scenario, the rest of the year. Basically, here's some abbreviations for everything: RWE= Recess Wedding Epidemics: a span of time where popular kids have a recess wedding and everyone has one too, lasts about 1 week - the rest of the year.
