Automobile designed and produced by Hyundai. Tiburon means shark and this is reflected in the "gills" on both sides of the cars. Over seas the car is refered to as Tuscani. The Tiburon has a very sleek body which is full of curves. Excellent styling combined with unmatched performance for the price. The GS model includes either a 4 spd automatic or a 5 spd manual transmission, and a 138 hp 4 cylinder engine (which has plenty of power to get around town) To add to the styling it also includes a catback dual exhaust with polished tips. The GT and SE both share the 172 hp V6 (a whole lot of power considering how lite and small the car is). The GT can be bought with either the 4 spd automatic or a 5 spd manual. However the SE contains a 6 spd manual transmission and can be purchased in several "special" colors such as orange crush. Four wheel disc brakes provide high performance braking for the 17 inch rims with michilen tires. The interior is very modern and user friendly. The guages light up red and the GT and SE models both have metallic trim. Some journalists have even reported the styling to be similar to that of a ferrari. The GS starts out at a little below $17,000 The GT and the SE range from $19,000-$23,000
