One of the most, if not the most infamous British general of WWII, well known for being able to defeat the near unstoppable German general Erwin Rommel in the North Africa Front, thanks to his competent planning and good usage of the resources he had. Montgomery continued to fight in Europe as well after clearing out North Africa, and was also successful on the Western Front despite the failures of 'Operation Market Garden'. He was nicknamed 'Monty' and 'The Spartan General'.
