Theres no such thing as innocent people, it sounds too good to be true because it is. There are no innocent people of any race, sex, orientation, or group, everybody has done something human, everybody has made mistakes. There are only people not guilty of crimes they've been accused of, it's not the same thing as innocence, it never was. What protestors dont want to hear is that everybody has it coming, whether it's coming back to you as payback, or whether it's coming to you for somebody or something you got back at somebody else for. There is nobody of any race who doesn't deserve pain, theres really just what extent they need to suffer to. George Floyd didnt deserve to die, that doesn't mean he deserved to live a pain free, trauma free life because he was innocent, it just means he didnt do enough to justify killing him, kind of like many of the Confederate soldiers didnt do enough to get their statues dishonored, since not all of them were involved in the slave trade.
