A small subsection of Northeast Philadelphia with some crazy ass history, largely due to the prison. Not a poor area, but not a rich one. Close to center city & close to the burbs. Heavily overlooked by Mayfair. Holmesburg is the lowkey, middle child of Northeast Philly & home to America’s oldest bridge. You either go to Lincoln, Judge, NFCHS, hit up Al’s deli, take the 66, or the 84 & fuck with Mayfair kids who think you’re from Mayfair because they don’t know where Holmesburg is.
