The Ido word for "girl". Much like its mother language (Esperanto) the utility of this language is highly questionable but this remains an option for a term of endearment to any females you know (plural is "puerini"), especially to convey a sense of internationalism and multilingualism. Much like the Esperanto equivalent "knabino" you could indo-europeanize it as "puerina" but it must be remembered that in both these languages, "-o" is an ending to nouns and "-a" is an ending to adjectives, making it a convenient to sort of spite the language if you want.
