George Floyd was a black man killed by a cop: Derek Chauvin. This police man knelt on his neck for nearly ten minutes, ultimately killing him. Floyd had allegedly used a counterfeit bill, and was killed for this minor misdemeanor. His death has rippled throughout the world, bringing about protests and exposure to the meaning of the phrase black lives matter in an important way.
