Russia, or the Russian Federation, is a transcontinental country located in Eastern Europe and Northern Asia. Covering an area of 17,125,200 square kilometres it is the largest country in the world by area, spanning more than one-eighth of the Earth's inhabited land area. Russia's capital and largest city is Moscow. Most often people think- in Russia all people like Putin, all people drink vodka, all people are playing balalaika and all people are riding bears. No...these all are stereotypes. I, as a person, who is from Russia and lives here, confirm, that no one drinks vodka now, we can see bears only in zoos, everyone (including kids, but without grandmas and granddads) knows english and speaks it very good, and we DONT play balalaika. Russia isn't soviet country.Russia isn't Ukraine. Russian and Ukrainian government hates each other. Russia isn't including CIS countries. People here aren't aggressive, here are kind people. And P.S: in Russia we don't eat borcht;)
