The art of locating ourselves, in isolation, across locations. Of connecting, when isolated. Of the solace of finding our truths, of connecting the dots, and drawing a line through them to form the shape of us. The word is almost a portmanteau and is certainly inherently a contradiction within, thus the origin of our quest within for our place without. From iso, meaning the same, (e.g. isobars, isotherm), and location. To resonate with isolation. For this is where we found ourselves, isolocated. Isobars connect dots across locations with the same pressure, isotherms draw a line through locations of the same temperature. Our poetry collection finds moments of connect of the isolated, across locations, in this thread we called Isolocation.
