SAS- Solid axle swap. This is done on trucks/ suvs that have independent front suspension, so they are often taken off and swapped for a solid axle. The reasoning behind this is usually for more travel which is when the wheels move up and down more. SAS is better for going over things like rocks or tree trunks.
