British slang Someone who (during the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020) clapped loudly every Thursday night at 8pm but did not actually do anything to support the NHS. Also, typically a staunch supporter of the political party which consistently made cuts to the NHS, resulting in its underfunding and inability to properly protect its staff with the appropriate equipment.
