This term is used to describe a person (usually of the Roman Catholic faith) who is obsessed with their religion. They are often highly annoying and will usually force their exact beliefs onto you. They turn more people away from Catholicism than they attract to it. Their kids are often homeschooled and sheltered, usually given no internet access (or highly restricted internet access) Their kids are only allowed to use electronic devices for short periods of time (if they even have devices) They often get their devices taken for extended periods of time for doing completely trivial things. They have as many kids as they can physically produce. (Usually somewhere in the double digits.) Hyper religion is often passed down through generations. After hyper religious kids move out, they truly begin to realize just how sheltered they were, and how much they missed out on in life. Because of this, they try to take the fun away from everyone else.
