A portmanteau formed by the combining the words content and consume. It refers to the content you're watching, reading, listening, even games on PS/Xbox one is playing. It helps you talk about the content you consume without giving in to guilt and the negative connotations of the word 'Binge'. The need for the word arose in late 201Xs when people were consuming too much content to keep track. Also saying 'What are you Netflix and Chilling to?' was getting too creepy. How many streaming services do we need people? The word was coined by Roma Joshi in 2019 and became popularised in 2020 by her.
