What happens when all of the plants are bulldozed out of a specific area, most severe where there are hills and mountains. A common sight in the Amazon Rainforest region, Hawaii, Appalacia, Tasmania, Africa, and metropolitan areas all across the USA. Commonly caused by strip mining, clearcutting, the overgrazing of livestock (especially beef cattle), and evil greedy developers.
