A period in the history of Germany where from 1919 to 1933; the nation saw a short transition to a parliamentary democracy. Born out of the ashes of the German Revolution, it oversaw: -The mass inflation of the Deutsche Mark. -Numerous attempted communist revolutions. -Allied transgressions. -The Roaring Twenties. -The Great Depression, which would be partially responsible for the fall of the Weimar Republic and the creation of Nazi Germany.
