It is what it is. This phrase is a pointless grouping of words. Most often used by those whose family's are riddled with incest. Typically they are exceptionally stupid, low rent, pukes. That is why they waste time and breath stating the obvious. "It is what it is" is free of any original thought, and is technically not a statement because it's not saying anything. If you hear someone saying these words it's best to turn and leave, foregoing any interaction and definitely avoid business or extra familial affairs.
