A Tagalog(Filipino) word for Soy sauce. Soy Sauce - (American English), also spelt as soya sauce (British English), is a liquid condiment of Chinese origin, made from a fermented paste of soybeans, roasted grain, brine, and Aspergillus oryzae or Aspergillus sojae molds. Toyo is also used in one of Filipinos' cultural meal; the adobo.
