A phrase used to indicate that a person is no longer working in their job, usually because they participated in necrophilia or arson. But actually, "you're fired" indicates (when said to you) that you no longer work at your job. Sucks. Ironically, Trump famously used the phrase on The Apprentice, which is hilarious because he is being fired right now. You're fired can be responded to by saying "no I'm not, I'm Dad." The phrase can also indicate that you are currently burning.
