While the original version is taco-based, a crunchwrap has expanded to any dish constructed like or has the form of the Crunchwrap Supreme®. Verb 1. To cover or fold a tortilla or flatbread around an enclosed filling in a hexagon shape, and crisp on a heated surface until a sealed pocket is formed. You can crunchwrap anything including breakfast, lunch, dinner, or dessert. This expansion of the popular Taco Bell dish was introduced by food blogger and cookbook author, Lillie Biesinger.
