Hussamudheen AKA Hussam is the main antagonist in the Maldivian folktale known as fi sabilillah. The story is about a child who gets caught by a serial child rapist known as Hussam. The kid was tortured and raped before being murdered. The story circulating around now is [watered down] to make it more child friendly and there are many songs, dramas and story books made about this folktale. Many people don't know that this tale is based on a real person by the name of Hussam who lived around 1720 AD. Hussam hailed from a rich dynasty of [islamic] scholars known as the Farooq Dynasty (Known as Farooq ge dhari kolhu in Maldives). He was apparently a man of great knowledge and wealth making him a very appealing bachelor but he never married anyone. His sexual libido and lack of self awareness is the main cause of this. He was known to often make savage jokes about kinky [sexual acts] and fetishes deterring most of the women he meets. It's not confirmed but many [believe that] he died a virgin at the ripe age of 69.
