Younger generations like Gen Z and Millenials have given up trying to explain to older generations (usually Baby Boomers) that we are not all lazy, entitled, uneducated and sensitive as there is absolutely nothing you can do to change their opinion. “Ok Boomer” was created as an easy way out of a conversation instead of of explaining something they won’t listen to over and over again. Boomers also now believe that this term is a “slur” and equivalent to the n-word. Which it is not.
