Derived of the of the following words: Dúnamis; meaning power, strength, might, skill, ability, authority and influence. Philia; meaning the liking, or love of something. Dúnaphilia is the attraction of power, not matter its form. It can be a person, place, thing or any kind of representation of it. Ranging from a skilled fighter or athlete, to a successful politician or business tycoon. From an item or weapon that's said to hold or represent great power, to a location that does the same. Even things like martial arts or a position of power will be enough to get someone excited. Going from a simple desire or attraction, to a full on a full on obsession, and even sexual desire, for power.
