When an artist, particularly within the electronic bass music scene, while playing a set suddenly unleashes an exorbitant quantity of love through sonic art. This style of art commonly known as music, otherwise characterized as precise manipulative vibrations of air. It is a clever term of endearment. This slang saying is said to have its origins at the very first Wakaan festival in 2019. In the spirit of Throwin' Air, festival participants partook in an unspoken abstract metaphysical interpretation of the aforementioned phrase by graciously flapping Chinese fountain palm fans on fellow festival goers, effectively fanning air on each other. NOT to be confused with actually Throwin' Air, which is one can only obtain through true artistic aptitude, growth, and lastly access to a minimum of at least 400,000 Watts of the almighty Bass.
