Jet Coma is the combination of food coma (the feeling after eating too much) and jet lag (sleepy feeling after flying from a time zone to another. Jet Coma happens when you eat too much while jet lagged you’re falling asleep. This word was first used in 2019 in the Bay Area by Italian immigrant Luca Indrio after returning from a trip from Italy and eating way too much.
