it used to be musical.ly, which was the equivalent of a terrorist attack on the internet. then sometime in 2018, it changed to tiktok. at first it still had cringy children, but then hit or miss became a thing. gamer boys then stormed tiktok, hoping to wage a war on cosplayers and furries. it resulted in a lot of (not bad) memes. then, after the huge migration, most people just stayed on tiktok. although it essentially created vsco girls and e-girls, it mostly has funny content now, and anyone that gives off musical.ly vibes is widely rejected. in the end, it's not as bad as people think
