Pertaining to the Horn of Africa. The term Hornian is almost synonymous with Cushitic, since that is the dominant ethnic group in the Horn. Due to being an enclosed peninsula, its people are phenotypically distinct among whom the E-M215 (also E3b) haplogroup prevails. The peninsula has never amalgamated under a single polity, except during Puntian king Perahu's expansions, Adal king Ahmed Gragns expansions, those of Solomonic emperors such as Menelik II, as well as the expansionism by Darwiish commander Ismail Mire.
