Old Wharf Road in Dennisport Ma. called this not because of kidnappings but because of the availablity of young girls in large amounts all looking for boys in hot cars. It was a reference to the desired part of the young womans anatomy, It has been called this for as long as i have been alive and at least into the early forties according to cousins older than I it was a stretch of road that ran between several "campgrounds" Large groups of cabins that had started out as tent sights and has turned into cabin villages. these were often rented out for family vacations and all the kids would go out at night and wander on "snatch alley"
