Pen Cap Chew was a song written by Kurt Cobain, in 1987, and recorded on January 23, 1988 ( At Reciprocal Studios {prod by Jack Endino}). The song was only partially recorded due to the fact it had the unfortunate luck of being the last song tracked during the session. Despite this, the song is considered by some fans to be still an excellent song and on par with releases in Bleach, the reason it cold not be added being the aforementioned recording issues. Official lyrics: oh lesser God, oh loathe me. oh lesser God, oh loathe me. oh lesser God, oh loathe me. oh lesser God, oh oh. You get, you get, you get, you get to me, Holy is the time it's such an easy way to go. You get, you get, you get, you get to be, Hide the struggle in the skin under a fingernail. oh lesser God, oh loathe me, oh lesser God, oh lonely. oh lesser God, oh loathe me, oh lesser God, YOU'RE LONELY. Waste your time by saving worthless gullibles, Kill a politician and then wear his clothes. This decade is the age of re-hashing, Protest and then go to jail for tresspassing. To me it's home... go... home... go... From Kurt Cobain's Journals, the missing verse can be found which was cut from the recording, and presumably it would have been part of the recording had the band had enough of the reel left. Can you see the reason for my entropy? Is there something wrong without society? Has your concience got to you for building? Is that you noticing you eat your pens? Go... home... (x4)
