Vulagism n. the ideology and policies adopted by regimes to deny men basic human rights (eg 'presumption of guilt of the accused', discriminatory HR departments, lopsided Family Courts, etc.) in the name of female protection or advancement. Origin: late 20th century: from vagina + gulag + ism. Gulag (Russian) is used in the colloquial sense of a (neo) marxist repressive system, based on the historical GULAG (Главное управление по делам военнопленных и интернированных), referred to as the "meat-grinder" by prisoners.
