Based on the show 'Steven Universe' in which the character name 'Sapphire' is a sentient gemstone who can predict the future and its possibilities. 'Sapphire syndrome' is when you can see multiple possibilities and outcomes of your actions when faced with a choice but in fear of making the wrong decision, you hesitate to act and even put your life on hold because you don't want to make the wrong choice. You figuratively freeze up. As the character 'Sapphire' does. But the irony in this is if you don't act, you already make the wrong choice and let oppertunities and life slip by. Waiting for a specific possibility or certain condition or variables to attain your desired result. Possible cure: Know your life is happening right now, so act now. Accept that you are allowed to make mistakes(within reason) and understand that failing is a vital part in succeeding. Mistakes happen and sometimes life doesn't go the way we want it to, we make the wrong choices but we're human. We have to at least try to do the right thing and know that making a mistake doesn't mean it's the end for you. Life goes on. Sometimes we have to work with what we have now. Life's short so stop waiting for something that might not be meant for you.
