The term used to describe or refer to a moment (in a film, TV program or even life) that acts as a complication of sorts. That is, a point when the "plot thickens". Derived from the use of cornflour as a thickening agent when making sauce/gravy/etc. Hence the term, 'Cornflour Moment'.
