To physically torture or injure someone by means of archaic methods, usually involving tools frequently used for blacksmithing or traditional feudal era torture. Example of such include thumbscrews, flesh peeling, and branding. First coined by Marcellus Wallace in Quentin Tarantino's <i>Pulp Fiction</i> (1994).
