A character in the hit anime/manga series, InuYasha, by Rumiko Takahashi. Unlike Inuyasha, his younger half brother, Sesshomaru is a pure-blooded demon whose mother was also a demon. He can change into a beast. From his father he inherited Tenseiga, which is useless as a weapon, so he tries to claim Tetsusaiga. Sesshomaru's companions include two dragons, a cat-sized familiar named Jaken, as well as the young girl, Rin, who Sesshomaru once revived using the Tenseiga. Sesshomaru's name means "Destruction Man."
