An object for which one cannot currently recall a name. Any object may become a Janque when the name of the object is forgotten or not known. It ceases to be a janque when another name for the object becomes known. An object may be a janque to one person while having a different name for another person and it will remain a janque for the one who is not aware of the name of the object until that name is known to them. It is appropriate, when possible, to point to the janque, and/or use descriptive words when referring to it, so that others will know which janque you are talking about.
