Something either received or given. If received (more popular), an entity has wronged you (usually legally.) However, this wrong was usually not done to raise the status of the giver (often, the transaction is unbeknownst to the giver.) Instead, it is a loophole-esque way to inconvenience the receiver in an uncanny but not severe or permanent way. It often elevates the status of the giver rather than the degradation of the entity. However, the entity is usually a higher power that is villainized a la beauracracy.
